On
April 21st, 2007, the technicians in Paker Company went to fruit garden
in Daxing district.
There was serious bird damage in that area. Sparrows and pies are
the frequenters in that area. Whenever the fruits repining, there
would be bird guard in the morning, afternoon and evening to dispel
birds. However, birds flied here again when the bird gaud went away.
Last year, bird prevention net had been built to dispel birds. But
there are many problems.

When there is heavy rain or wind, the bird prevention net may be collapsed.
If the bird prevention net is not demolished after fruit ripening
in autumn, it may be destroyed by heavy snow in winter.
Focusing on these problems, the technicians explained the operation
method of the digital bird repeller
and did experiments in fruit gardens.
It was strange to see birds flying here before fruits ripening.
But several sparrows were flying into the sky after opening the
digital bird repeller.
“Fantastic!” one fruit grower said.
However, what puzzled fruit growers and technicians was that suddenly
several pies stayed near the digital bird repeller. Were pies not
afraid of that sounds?
They telephoned Dr, Zheng Wengang from NERCITA. He said that it
was very common that pies preferred staying together when they heard
the scared sound made by other pies. If they were really in danger,
they will attack human beings together.
But it can make pies feel that they were in danger, so they will
not have time to eat the fruits. Sometimes, they will fly back to
their nests on the tree to see whether there were problems with
their nests. After a long time, they will move to other places.
